I have never been so surprised with how unprofessional a manager can be. The manager gave me guarantees for time lines that were broken 3 times and told me he is "not God" and I that "don't you have to wait at the doctors" when I told him I am expecting him to follow through. When I asked for the owner's number he refused to give it to me. I am hoping the hoop installation will be completed tomorrow.

I dealt with a very nice woman salesperson and she was great, but when I dealt with the boss (one of the bosses?) he was rather unpleasant to me.

Good quality basketball systems IF you get the one you ordered. Ordered a system (stand, backboard, hoop) and when it was delivered it was obvious the backboard was curved/bent right in the center. They were great about sending a new backboard and the 2nd one they delivered was the RIGHT one - much thicker and better than the 1st one they had sent; the 1st one was a cheaper backboard. This may have been an innocent mistake ... or not.

Bought a basketball system at this hoops plus with a light on it and after 2 months the halogen light burnt out Called them to replace and they wanted to charge me 75.00 minimum to replace a lightbulb..Just spent over 1300.00 2 months before...There was no negotiation, just arrogance...In the end my landscaper brought his ladder to help me and I will never go to this arrogant, overpriced store again..They are very nice until the sale is complete..

This place really disappointed me. I bought a arcade game from them and it didn't work from the start. That I could understand, but they kept giving me the run around about when they would get around to fixing it. Finally, after having to badger them, THEY SENT ME THE PART AND TOLD ME TO FIX IT!!! And their prices aren't that great. Check with amazon or bizrate and you'll see. these guys won't be around long

If you are looking for low price and low quality then go to a major department store. If you are looking for a well made, safe, enjoyable product for many years then stop by Hoops Plus. Their service was excellent and it's just another reason this little shop has done so well fending off the big players in basketball hoops and other entertainment games, ie (Arcade games, pool tables, etc)
