I agree with most of the other reviews. The teachers are GREAT. My child loves going to school. She has grown so much since going. The teachers are very good, they take time to talk to you when dropping off and picking up. They treat all children the same. However the office staff can be rude. I look at it this way. My child does not have to deal with the office I do and I can handle them. My child has to deal with the teachers and they really are the best.

l have 2 children that have gone to MHLC. For the most part I have been very happy with them. I agree with many of the other reviews that the owner leaves alot to be desired. She doesn't treat the parents with the respect she expects. That being said the staff is awesome. The structure and the learning program excellent. They have lost some of the best staff there over the past few years, but they were able to maintain some others. Turnover can be high with the helpers and sometimes inexperienced. Mix that with the experienced and your child is well taken care of. The place is clean and I feel my children are safe there. It is a good choice. My oldest was more then ready for school and ahead of alot of others when he got there.

Well. Where do I start. Yes, it's true. The owners of the daycare are royal jerks. There rude and nasty to parents, teachers and sometimes even the children. BUT, their establishment is clean, safe and a superior daycare. I'm trying to find a daycare for my daughter in the area we live in and it is disgusting. I just called to make an appointment for a tour and the lady said to me "Oh, you ain't gotta make an appointment. We ain't got nothin to hide". Ok. Thanks. Nevermind. Anyways, my point is, deal with their attitudes...because they are genuinely a good daycare.

My four year old son is finishing his pre kindergarten in this institute and he looks forward to go there everyday. The teachers are wonderful, the place is very clean and the curriculum is fantastic. But....the two ladies in the top are nasty, rude, very difficult to talk to, not flexible, inhuman at times and just impossible. This place will prosper only if these women change their attitude and have some respect to the parents who deserve it.

This is an awesome place to have your child begin his or her educational journey. The staff and teachers treat your child as if they were their own. The teachers were instrumental in helping me get speech services for my child. They go above and beyond what you would expect in a daycare. The teachers and staff are well trained and they come up with the most innovative and crafty projects to not only entertain the children but teach them the essential skills they will need to succeed in school. I would highly recommend Milford Hill Learning Center to anyone looking for a daycare that is much more than a place to keep your kids busy while you work. Working in education I see first hand the basic social skills that are being left to the wayside and at Milford Hill students are taught respect, manners, social skills, music, the art of safe play, and too many more things to name that create a well rounded, well adjusted child ready to enter school and not only succeed but excel!!

I love MHLC. All of the teachers are wonderful and my daughter loves going. Although there is no security as far as a pass to get in, they have you fill out a list of who can and cannot pick up your child. They have to show ID to leave with them. The kids do tons of activities and play outdoors everyday. I have had no problem with scheduling and you will find with almost every daycare that you have to pay with snow days/holidays. They only closed for one snow day this winter which was great considering how much we got. The only two things I don't like are that 1.) The driveway is really bad in winter. You most likely need 4WD and 2.) I have heard from numerous people that the owner is not pleasant to work for. It's a shame because like I said previously, I enjoy all of the staff members I have met. It's too bad that she will probably lose her better employees by treating them badly.

My child has learned a lot from this center; however, there are some major issues. The safety and security of the building are very inadequate. The owner does not take responsibility for improving what should be the number one priority of a daycare center--the safety of your child. Additionally, there is a lack of flexibility when it comes to scheduling your child for a program. Also be prepared to pay for your child to attend the center even when it is closed.

i have had two children go thru this program, not only were they happy but very much prepared for kindergarden. the staff has always been helpful. my favorite is miss ronnie and mr george (outstanding and really care about your child). miss karen runs a tight ship, but this is what we want for our kids, structure and rules. thank you for having such a great program so close to home.

My daughter is two, she LOVES going to MHLC. The staff are energetic and very creative with their activities. It is great because it enhances social skills and so many other things. Best decision I ever made.
