If you like real food, with re...

If you like real food, with real flavor, this is a great restaurant with authentic Russian flavors. Fruit blini, or corned-beef - both were created from made-from-scratch dough, generously-filled, and beautifully browned in real butter. Borscht was created from real bone-broth - not canned - and contained tender chunks of beef. Most places would just go on-the-cheap with a water-base and veggie-only, so real beef-borscht was a treat. Cabbage rolls were 100% made-from-scratch. Pancakes are sourdough, made-from-scratch. Every table was occupied this morning and we were conversing back and forth about how wonderful the food and service is. If you think Chili's and TGIF are haute-cuisine, then don't waste your time eating here, or taking up a table that could be used by other people who enjoy real food. If you have to have your corn-syrup, high-salt, and high-sugar fix for the day, this isn't your kind of place either. If you appreciate real food, this is a real gem. Prices are extremely fair.

The food was less then average, the price was way over board! If you want a meal for the money you pay then go to the Red Arrow down the road, there you will get your moneys worth and a great meal! It cost us 19.00 for 2 breakfasts that were skimpy and left you hungry not to mention disappointed at the quality or lack of.
