Milan Area Schools operates elementary, middle and high schools. The schools offer a number of educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. They offer subjects, such as English, American history, mathematics, business, science social studies, computer science, health and physical education, music and art. The elementary schools focus on the development of reading, writing and mathematical skills of their students. The schools also offer a number of sports activities, including baseball, softball, football, soccer, volleyball, athletics and basketball. The parent-teacher associations involve parents in a variety of community activities to aid the educational process. The school district is located in Milan, Mich.
