I lived here for 2 years on lease, then let the lease lapse and elected to pay higher rent for a month-to-month agreement. This was to allow flexibility in relocating. The DAY I found a new home in a city an hour away, I went to my rental office and gave 15 days notice. They filled out the paperwork and told me my date for the walkthrough. I called to confirm the walkthrough and THEN they notified me that I was required to give 60 days notice before vacating. Who reasonably HAS 60 days notice when moving? Whether or not it is legal, it is certainly dishonest and unreasonable.
Really, not a bad place. Not the best, but not as bad as the other people have said. The place is maintained pretty well, the amenities aren't bad, and for being off the freeway and 2 major streets, it's pretty quiet. We have lived here for 6 months and probably won't renew our lease, due to the fact that we want to move into a duplex or house, otherwise we would. We have two young children and a dog. The complex is dog friendly, as long as you keep your pooch on a leash and pick up your dogs poo, and very kid friendly... lot's of nice, fun kids. We love the accessibility to stores, mountains, freeways, and schools. Our neighbors are nice and keep to themselves. There was a big incident last May that involved the police, and we think the office is trying to weed out the seedy folk, so they've been kicking some folks out that can't follow simple rules like no alcohol in the pool area and no aggressive behavior, obvious no brainer stuff. Overall, we totally recommend this place!
