Rob and his staff are fantastic! I have read the other reviews and firmly believe these people are talking about a different business and have never been to Kid to Kid Midlothian.



During the huge storms we had in January, I went to Kid to Kid Midlothian hoping to get some winter wear for my son. Although the sign said, "Closed Due To Storm", Rob arrived and allowed me and several other shoppers in to get necessary items. What a lifesaver!

Absolutely horrible experience. They would not buy my designor todllers clothes which had NO stains on them. The few pieces that they did buy they gave me NOTHING for them!!!! I can't believe that this place is still in business! I will NEVER attempt to sell my toddler or 7 year old son's clothes there ever again. What a horrible place!!!

This place is horrible. I took in PRISTINE boxes of clothes which ranged from ralph lauren to Juicy Cotoure and was told there were stains on them and that they weren't folded well enough. I DROPPED THEM IN THE PARKING LOT!!! They offered me $15 which I took for the couple of items that they would take, and I took the rest to Once Upon a Child where they inspected the clothes and said that there were NO stains and couldn't believe the audacity of kid to kid. At all costs, stay away from Kid to Kid unless you absolutely have to find something cheap that you can't find anywhere else!!!

Not worth your time or money. I've shopped and consigned here and was unhappy with both. They pay less then their local competitor for your items. When I was looking through the maternity section of the store I found 2 different shirts with stains around the chest line, obvious stains. Add to this the poor attitude of the girls working there and it's not worth the hassle. I'd recommend going to a different children's consignment shop.

I recommend t his store to all of my friends. They have the funniest, helpful staff in any store. they even keep a lookout for things that I want and call me when it comes in. I bring them my kids clothes and toys and get store credit because y of get more for y our stuff.

The staff there is terrific and very helpful. And I can trust them to tell me the truth when I ask their opinion. They are not out just to make a sale. It is easy to sell to them and I love getting the store credit because you get so much more. I just trade stuff in for new stuff. Since they opened up their buying hours, it is much better and easy to sell.

Beware---The buyers do not offer fair value for your items. About $1 per items in great condition no matter the brand name. For example--I got $1 for a pair of overalls from The Children's Place---excellent condition, only worn once. Save your time and effort and try another consignment shop.

There were so many great buys!! There was furniture and bedding and toys and clothes, you name it!! Everything was in great condition!! There ia even a play area for the kids, to keep them busy while you shop. The only problem was that their only dressing room was also a restroom. I didn't feel comfortable taking my 4 year old in to try on tons of clothes and keep the bathroom occupied while doing so, when this was a store full of pregnant woman and toddlers, who would need to use the restroom. If they get the dressing room problem fixed I would change my rateing to exceptional!
