Provided by YP.comToo many bad experiences with this hospital and ER, and one experience most likely unethical being a Christian-based facility. They did not began originally this way but has declined into a nightmare. I will never take another love one there...:(

Provided by YP.comI've had doctor visits and two major surgeries and several visits to the ER and I wouldn't trust any other hospital but St Francis. I thank all the doctors, nurses and staff for all their hard work.

Provided by YP.comNEVER LET ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. Most of the nurses in the 4th floor are just there for a check, the ones that do care are few and far between (but there are a couple). They allowed my wife to go home after surgery with out going to the bathroom, three days later her bowels ruptured and she had to have emergency surgery and only had a 30% chance to live during that time. Then when she's being treated a cath. cap was left inside her causing infection, never expected this from this hospital. Terrible place, go anywhere but here.

Provided by YP.comLove St. Francis! Best hospital I have been to. The room I stayed in was so relaxing. They also play a lullaby every time a baby is born there~I loved reading my book in my bed then hearing the songs play, so cute!! I definitely would recommend St. Francis :o)

Provided by YP.comNEVER,NEVER GO THERE!
I have been in many emergency rooms with my medical conditions and this is the absolute worst i have ever been treated!! The staff was RUDE bordering on abusive and should not be allowed around helpless people. As an employee of a major financial institution in town, if my boss heard me talk to a customer the way I was treated there, I would be fired ON THE SPOT, and that is what Bon Secours needs to do with these people and start over with new personnel. There are good ones out there and please do notgo to this place or let your loved ones be taken there because you will be sorry. They made one of the worst nights of my life immeasurably worse and they should ashamed!

Provided by YP.comDO NOT GO HERE ! I had several trips to this er over two months. twice in an ambulance. one nurse told me " i guess you're getting your way now" when i had to be admitted. another occasion when i had to be admitted the er doctor refused to give me anything for pain. the last time i went because i could not breath and was in so much pain. they said i had a mild case of pnumonia and sent me home with an antibiotic. hours later an ambulance took me to chippenham with bloodclots in my lungs. i spent three weeks there with malnutrition, dehydration , seven kidney stones and other problems resulting from the lack of care at st. francis. i have heard so many horror stories about this place it needs to be shut down. Seriously do not go there . go to cjw

Provided by YP.comDon't go there! Any promises for fast surgery aside, once you are inside they may forget you are there! Terrible experience with the ER doctor who was basically inattentive and never looked in on the patient for FOUR HOURS (I know--I was in the room).
Since then I've heard two other horror stories--one from someone who sat in the waiting room for an eternity with CHEST PAINS, of all things.
Did I say DON'T GO THERE?
