Mt. Peak Elementary is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and enrichment programs. The school has been in operation since 1997 and organizes classroom parties, field trips and book fairs. It enrolls more than 550 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Mt. Peak Elementary offers English as a Second Language and special and gifted and talented education programs. It administers a book club, student council, parent-teacher organization and service learning projects. The school conducts various before- and after-school activities and features a computer laboratory. Mt. Peak Elementary offers classes in science, music and mathematics, as well as guidance counseling and food services. The school is governed by the Midlothian Independent School District.
