Dealing with Ken was the worst contracting experience I have had. Our initial appointment was 3/28/15, he missed it.. The pad was finally poured on 5/11. Ken told me that he was not going to level it because the skim coat would do the trick. I paid him at that time $1900 out of the $2700 estimate for the pad and skim coat.



After the pad was poured it was obviously unleveled. There was standing water everywhere. He damaged the sprinker system during the install that I was forced to pay to fix..



After the skim coat was installed on 6/3 the low spots were still there and there were major high spots. On 6/16 his crew came and grinded down a portion of the pad before his crew left the job to get a generator and did not return. The new coat was completely chewed up. His crew was a no show again on 6/18. On 6/24 he told me he was no longer willing to work on my project.



Terrible quality. Stay as far away as you can. If you do use him don't pay in advance for anything.
