Welcome to Shannon Animal Hospital Shannon Animal Hospital of Midland, Texas has been providing the people of the Permian Basin with dependable and affordable pet healthcare since 1959. It all started with Dr. Steve Shannon who built Shannon Animal Hospital after he moved from downtown Midland. Dr. Shannon was most concerned about making sure that the clinic passed into the hands of someone who was truly concerned about taking care of his clients. So, in 1980, Dr. Greg Adkins purchased the clinic from Dr. Shannon and in 1983 Dr. Morgan Brown became a partner in the business. Both Dr. Adkins and Dr. Brown worked for Dr. Shannon before going through Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. They are proud of their history with the clinic and strive to provide veterinary service that Dr. Shannon would be proud of. We at Shannon Animal Hospital take pride in the fact that our customers choose our clinic over many others. Most of our staff have been at the clinic for several years and have developed friendships with our clients. Our clinic is not a fancy clinic but we believe that we make up for that by providing dependable and affordable healthcare for our clients. Our clinic is set up with examination rooms, a digital x-ray room, surgery room, an area for teeth cleaning, and an area for grooming. We also provide boarding for your pet. Our staff strives to treat each of the pets at our clinic as if it was our own. We have a Registered Veterinary Technician that assists with surgeries. Services offered include: boarding, basic pet grooming, pet healthcare ranging from standard procedures to surgeries, full service animal hospital, pharmacy and dentistry. Shannon Animal Hospital is open Monday-Friday 8:30-noon and 2:00-6:00, and on Saturdays 8:30-noon. Our patients are seen by appointment.
