It is an excellent martial art...

It is an excellent martial arts school as I can speak from personal experience. I have had Mr. Barnes as an instructor since I started my freshman year of college and he has maintained his proficiency and consistently strives to perfect his craft. He is very knowledgeable and I wouldn't trade him for another instructor as his particularly detail oriented mind consistently enables me to further develop my own skills. Whether you have experience under your belt, are just getting your feet wet, or are a stay at home parent looking to get a quality workout and give their kid(s) something productive to do that will also teach them respect and teamwork, in a fun family oriented environment, then it sure is worth a shot. As for me, I'm a college grad and fly commercially and in my spare time I still enjoy my martial arts hobby. Anyone is more than welcome to walk in and watch or come and try a class. It never hurts to try as it got me hooked since way back in 2006. Current location is behind Sedonas mexican restaurant in the shopping center as of 8-2-2013. See you there!

Building leaders for tomorrow....Today!

General Info
Mr. Barnes began training in 1997 under the leadership of Master Laura Zant of Odessa, TX. Always interested in teaching, Mr. Barnes put in over 800 hours as a volunteer instructor before earning his black belt in May of 1999. He went on to become, along with his wife the Trainee instructor of the Year for the Texas Region in 2000. He later opened his first school in 2002, that besides growing to nearly 200 students, produced many trainee instructors, State Champions and World Champion contenders. Mr. Barnes opened a school for the second time in September of 2012 where he continues to train others to be their very best to this day.
