      General Info
      Grand Master Coyne started his martial arts studies to improve his mind and body. As a child, he suffered with a weakened immune system and severe respiratory allergies which prevented him from doing activities such as basketball, football, baseball or any other activity in a dust filled environment. Grandmaster Coyne was also diagnosed with dyslexia but through the training and philosophies of Kum Sung Martial Arts he was able to overcome that condition as well. He has studied and continued to study under the teaching of the Grandmaster Kum Sung who is also the founder of Kum Sung Martial Arts. While studying in Korea, Grandmaster Coyne received his first Black Belt from the President of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and then he went on to study further in both Hong Kong and Osaka Japan. With over 25 years of teaching experience, he has achieved: * Grand Champion at numerous tournaments throughout the country. * Hall of Fame Award winner for instructor of the year, several times over * Competitor of the Year-Expert Weaponry * Instructed and Certified Police and law enforcement agents in self defense and PR24 * Stuntman/actor in movies and TV commercials (Double Dragon; TMNT; Mortal Combat) * Seventh Degree Grandmaster in World Kum Do/Tae Kwan Do * Provides private in-home instruction * Provides summer and holiday programs * Birthday and Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties * Demonstrations at retail grand openings * Demonstrations at K-12 school systems
