Founded in 1968, Prototype & Plastic Mold Co. is a single source supplier of injection molded based products, assemblies and parts. Located in Middletown, Conn., the company initially focused on building plastic molds for prototypes, especially for the aerospace industry and has now evolved into mold building of aluminum and steel molds, both for prototypes and production, and eventually injection molding. Prototype & Plastic Mold Co. works with customers from the prototype stage, through the preproduction stage, and assists with and implements an efficient and effective production, logistics, and quality management process. The company specializes in insert molding applications, lost core process, metal to plastic conversions and making of molds for parts with internal and external threads.
