This was a first for me in any type of dental office. I needed a root canal and was referred to this office for the procedure. Setting up the appointment went well and the receptionist was very educated and unbelievably pleasant!! Appointment day, receptionist again extremely pleasant. Went back to the exam room and met Dr. Gerges who seemed pleasant as well. Next came the xray. Seems simple enough! We have all had them. Hold the plastic thing in your mouth and they press a button and your done right? WRONG!!!!! My dental assistant smacked it out my mouth the first time with the camera and when i told her she said "It's not my equipment" Really? They are all the same in every dental office I have ever been to. Second time she did the same thing, so I asked if she was having a bad day and she repeated "Sir it's not my equipment" She continued to call for help as she kept knocking the holder out of my mouth and finally she swung the camera directly into it and SLICED OPEN THE INSIDE OF MY MOUTH. At that point I had enough!!! I was actually bleeding. Flesh wounds are NOT 5 STAR service!!!! Totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Who interviewed this dental assistant?? No wonder the Beachwood office is closing!
