BP Lubricants, a division of the BP America, provides lubricant products to a variety of industries, including the automotive and metal working industries. Lubricant products are available through retail stores nationwide and include motor oils, heavy-duty engine oils, transmission fluids, automotive gear oils, hydraulic oils, industrial gear oils, greases, metal working fluids and natural gar engine oils. Services available include a gear-inspection program and a variety of environmental and hydraulics programs. The division maintains its headquarters in Baltimore. BP s history dates as far back as the turn of the twentieth century, when William Knox D Arcy invested time, money and labor in the search for oil in Prussia.
