Coram Elementary School serves more than 900 students in kindergarten through grade four. Its academic programs include instruction in science, art, physical education, phonics, mathematics and social studies. The school also organizes spelling, reading and writing workshops. Coram Elementary School provides the English Language Learners program. It administers a parent-teacher association that offers support services for students. The school utilizes the HealthSmart curriculum to instruct students in the areas of personal and family health, injury, tobacco and alcohol prevention, nutrition and physical activities. Coram Elementary School operates libraries that provide reading and research materials. It is a part of the Longwood Central School District.
