He completed his residency training in all areas at Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his BS in Biology at Loyola University of Chicago and his MS in Biology with specialization in Microbiology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is primarily based at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. Dr. Kasimos currently serves as Chair and Professor of the Department of Pathology, Midwestern University where he is extensively involved in the education and training of osteopathic medical students and is a SOMA Foundation’s Northup Educator of the Year Award Recipient.

- Skin CancerJie Song, MD is a board-certified dermatopathologist, fellowship-trained at the University of Chicago. He received his medical degree at Beijing Medical University. Prior to his dermatopathology fellowship, he trained in anatomic and clinical pathology, and clinical dermatology. Dr. Song also has Master’s degrees in biochemistry / molecular biology and computer science. Dr. Song primarily serves at Alverno Labs, which provide a comprehensive immunohistochemistry panel for skin pathology diagnosis, and molecular testing for malignant melanoma.

- General PodiatryRichard Rosales, MD is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed his residency training at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He received his BS Degree from The University of Notre Dame, and attended the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Rosales serves as Medical Director for St. Franciscan Health Lafayette and Crawfordsville. He is active in the hospital’s cancer committee, breast cancer committee, and medical executive committee. He is also involved in teaching osteopathic and podiatry students and residents from Midwestern University.
