Moved in exactly one year ago. Nice, safe neighborhood and clean units. Exactly one mile from the beach access. Close to gas, pharmacy, and grocery, yet away from the questionable, main parts of town. Pool and workout facility are awesome! The two bedroom units have washer/dryer units in apartment at no extra cost! It is pricey and noise can be heard from above unit but I don't find it bothersome (my baby has slept trough it from birth). Manager is awesome! He came to check on us after a few weeks to make sure we didn't have any concerns. Heat broke last winter but manager came right away and the repair man had it fixed soon after. Tons of available parking. Storage units in hallway for every unit.The construction job isn't the best but it is DEFINITELY the best apartment complex in Michigan City!! (believe me, I looked at every place listed online and more unlisted)

I have been renting at Long Beach Cove Villas for the better part of the last year. The first couple of months were great, but then a family moved in about us. I don't blame the family - I blame the construction of the building. There is no soundproofing between floors. I can hear conversations carried on at normal volume in the apartment above and below mine.We were warned of the noise problem by other tenants, but ignored it, as we thought they must have had a particularly noisy neighbor. This is not the case, so renter beware!
