Please don't take your children bowling to this establishment especially in a family gathering. We are bowling with a group of 13 people, not including our children. The kids were playing in the arcade area and my cousin placed a dollar in the change machine.  The machine didn't give us any change back. I went and spoke with the manager and his statement was you place your money at your own risk. I stated you should have a sign stating that. He looked to see if the machine was jammed and he stated it wasnt. I placed my dollar into the machine and it took mines as well. He had an attitude and refunded me my four quarters. If this establishment isn't kid friendly you should remove the arcade common area. Please BEWARE of this establishment and go to lakeshore lanes!!!! Picture of machine below smh!!!!!!

last time i was there the owners (jayne and ted) were very drunk. which they are every single time ive been there. they are very rude to customers and their staff. they discriminate against their customers. they are very racist. i actuall witnessed the owner jayne lift up her shirt numerous times while in thw middle of the center. if you do not want your children to witness these horrible things do not bring them here. also their kitchen staff is very unsanitary. i have never seen anyone wash their hands. so gross. i will never go again.

This is a review from someone who would never consider himself a "bowler." I just have fun bowling, and if that's what you're looking for, City Lanes is great. They have a fun arcade, plenty of space, and satisfactory food. Down side: smokey bar feeling.
