- Dental CareDental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
- VaccinationPet insurance is one way to help with your pet finances. It reimburses owners for a part of, or the whole, veterinary bill for injured or ill patients. Some plans cover times when pets are lost or stolen. Some even help when pets die. As medical costs continue to grow, more owners are looking for pet insurance plans that cover preventative medicine, including examinations and vaccinations.
- Nutritional CounselingNutritional counseling is an important part of our jobs here at Woodland Veterinary Center. We are very excited to offer support to our clients in Michigan City, IN and our surrounding communities.
- Comprehensive ExaminationA Wellness Plan is a group of selected treatments and services offered throughout a 12-month period. These preventive care items are selected based on your pet’s age and/or needs. Your Wellness Plan will include vaccinations and/ or vaccinal blood titers, physical exam(s), and laboratory testing. Most additional services that may not be covered in your plan will be offered at a special plan rate.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlThe only good part about fleas and ticks is that we have a preventative (or preventative choices) to offer our patients. These need to be given every month (and year round) for the best results.
