The Archdiocese of Miami is a home to more than 1 million Catholics in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties. Based in Miami Shores, Fla., the organization operates 105 churches and missions as well as 57 schools. It provides Catholic cemeteries, health services, cultural groups, seminars and lay ministry/adult faith formation. The organization also conducts various events, such as carnivals/festivals, Christmas bazaars/masses, marriage preparation and prayer meetings.
