Ransom Everglades Upper School is an independent private school that offers college-preparatory education to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers academic programs in various subjects, such as English, language arts, science, social studies and math. It also provides education in various other subjects, such as fine and visual arts, physical education and technology. It additionally offers advanced placement courses in a wide range of subjects, including statistics, calculus, computer science, music theory, French, American and European history, environmental science government and politics, chemistry, world history, psychology, biology, physics, and microeconomics and macroeconomics. It also provides a library and media center that houses more than 25,000 volumes of print books, databases and access to other libraries, including the University of Miami and Miami-Dade County Public Libraries. The school also provides a wide range of extracurricular activities and sport programs. Ransom Everglades Upper School is located in Miami.
