The Pan Am International Flight Academy provides training solutions to airlines and aviation professionals. Established in 1980, the academy offers type rating, initial and recurrent training programs for commercial aircraft. It also provides a cockpit resources management training program. The academy offers Air Traffic Control School, which offers classes that focus on topics related to approach control, quality assurance, safety management and aviation English. Its ATC radar simulator is used for the simulation of failures and emergencies. The academy also offers the Regional Jet New Hire Prep Course, which includes topics related to flight management systems. The Pan Am International Flight Academy is a division of Pan American Airlines.
