The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis is the world s leading research centers that specializes in spinal cord injury treatment solutions. The center s anatomical observations and physiological recordings have helped in the understanding of human injuries. It has discovered that adult nervous system has a capacity for accepting and integrating the transplants of neuronal cell lines. The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis conducts researches in the fields of neuroregeneration, neuroplasticity, exercise science, cell transplantation and traumatic brain injury. In addition, the center s shop, The Buoniconti Fund, sells a selection of pens, golf shirts, baseball caps, stress balls and educational materials for fundraising purposes. It is a part of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
