Miami Cuban Ballet School is a dance studio located in Palmetto Bay, Miami founded by former ballerina from National Ballet of Cuba Valia Gonzalez. The school offers a high quality training in ballet for students who seek a good foundation in classical dance. The schools focuses on developing students under the Cuban Method of teaching ballet, which allows young dancers to acquire a solid technique, artistry, discipline , and strength. Miami Cuban Ballet School offers an array of complimentary classes such as contemporary, modern, conditioning , jazz, pointe, and classical variation. Director Valia Gonzalez, who is also a former ballet and European character dance teacher, has a vast experience training students for prestigious ballet competitions and magnet schools auditions.
