"Leonid Pimentel-Guerrero, M.D., is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. At Conviva Flagler, he leads a team of compassionate professionals who provide patient-focused care with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Pimentel-Guerrero performed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in the Bronx, New York. He earned his medical degree from the Zoilo Marinello Vidaurreta School of Medical Science, in Las Tunas, Cuba. Dr. Pimentel-Guerrero is a member of the AMA, ACP, and AGS. He has been recognized for his fellowship in long-term care, AMDA, and received a Gold Title in medical school. Dr. Pimentel-Guerrero has been recognized through the NCQA’s Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP). Clinicians who achieve DRP Recognition show their peers, patients and others in the Diabetes community that they are part of an elite group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care."
