Founded in 1912, the Greater Miami Adventist Academy provides seventh day Adventist education for the youths of South Florida. The school, located in Miami, offers learning opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, computer technology, social studies and foreign languages. The school also provides sessions for choir, band, arts, drama and gymnastics. The Greater Miami Adventist Academy offers classes for communication skills, including public speaking, reading and writing. The school offers general, college preparatory and honors diplomas. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher organization. The school is accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation and the Florida Association of Academic Non-Public Schools.
