Famis Incorporated, ( FAMIS ) a family owned and operated Miami-based industrial chemicals and finishes distributor, provides sales, service, and consulting to the industrial paint and finishing markets in Florida. We are based at 5689 N.W. 35th Court, Miami, Florida within two 4, 000 sq. ft warehouse facilities that are fully permitted for heavy industrial manufacturing and distribution. Unique capabilities of this facility include a solvent tank farm ; quart, gallon, pail and drum packaging of solvents ; manufacturing and packaging of blended cleaner and disinfectant for the farm and feed markets ; full time mechanical / electrical technician ; full time color matching laboratory: and a retail operation that is unique to the group. FAMIS also has approximately 2, 000 square feet of environmentally controlled warehousing. This was built to control temperature and humidity for the DuPont powder coatings but can also be used for other product requirements. FAMIS or Florida Auto Marine Industrial Supply started in 1969 as an automotive and industrial paint and equipment supplier. It has evolved into the foremost industrial finishing supply distributor throughout South Florida.
