Established in 1979, Dixie Transport Inc. has been serving the machinery moving and storage needs of South Florida businesses for over 30 years. Family owned and operated, we continue to provide professionalism and competence to our customers in a variety of industries with the same devotion and eagerness as when we started. Our services have grown to include moving and storage for law enforcement agencies such as the Miami-Dade Police Department both in Civil and Criminal matters (for over 20 years), as well as ATF, U.S. Marshals, State ATF officers, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. We have also expanded to include asset recovery, site visits and collections and assistance in re-marketing for Banks, Law Firms, Leasing Companies, and Asset Recovery Agents both local and out of state.

Rigging: Dixie Transport moves most types of equipment and machines in a variety of industries such as Pharmaceutical, Medical, Textile, Wood and Metal, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Food and Beverage Processing and Packaging. We provide competitive hourly and fixed rates. Transportation: Dixie Transport has Flatbed, Drop Deck and Dry Van Trailers from 40’ to 53’ to accommodate most freight anywhere in South Florida. We specialize in time specific, short notice, and after hour deliveries and offer competitive hourly and fixed rates. Warehousing: Dixie Transport has nearly 20,000 square feet of space available for long or short term storage, fully sprinklered and alarmed for the safety and security of your property. We have ground level and dock height facilities to accommodate any type of loading and unloading. Product Distribution: Dixie Transport can tailor a distribution program to meet your needs. We manage the receiving, storage, delivery and shipping of your products for you. For small businesses, outsourcing eliminates the expense of warehousing, equipment, personnel, and allows you to focus on other aspects of your business. We specialize in rapid response deliveries, specified appointments and provide unloading and placement of your product to assist your customer. We also provide inventory control and stock rotation. Freight Consolidation: Dixie Transport is the solution for the consolidation of your goods. We provide handling and temporary storage of freight for those consolidating shipments for various reasons including incomplete shipments, multiple vendors, difficult to handle, premature arrivals, construction delays, etc. We offer reloading and securing in overseas containers or local delivery, unloading and placement if required. MIAMI-DADE POLICE DEPARTMENT (MDPD) OR SHERIFF’S OFFICE: Dixie Transport is the property custodian for the Court Services Bureau of the Miami-Dade Police Department and has been for the last 30 years. All Enforceable Writs dealing with the seizure of personal property by MDPD are transported and stored by Dixie Transport. Types of seized property can include business and personal assets, documents, aircrafts, vessels, motorcycles and vehicles. These assets are held by Dixie Transport until they are sold by the MDPD at public auction or released to specified parties.
