I had my solar panels installed 1/26/09 by South Coast Solar. I found the company very responsive to all my questions. I have not had a moment's problems with my solar panels and I love them. I have a two story house with many green features such as blown in insulation and "low e" windows. I use gas for heating. For seven months last year I did not have an electric bill except for the Base Rate Charge of $8.07 which I believe is for use of the electric lines. I recently purchased a generator. Scott from South Coast Solar came over to check that my solar panels and generator were working well in association with each other. Everything was fine, but I appreciated the fact that Scott came over to check things out.

i got bids from 4 other solar companies and decided to go with south coast solar because they were the most educated on how the tax credits work, the representative that I met with was very friendly, but most importantly they have the best solar panels money can buy, on the market. in addition, this company will walk you through the process and give you all the needed documents to get your tax credits back. If I had to recommend a solar company in new orleans, or louisiana I would recommend south coast solar...in fact I have 3 neighbors that decided to use south coast solar too!!!

The one nice thing about this company is that they let me know the facts of what to look for when purchasing our system. There are certain certification that a solar company needs to have in order for us to get our tax credits. They assured us that other companies out there do not have these credentials and that we would not get our money back... Pay attention to who you use and ask for copies of the right certificates.... South Coast Solar is the one to have your job done right and correctly.... Thank you South Coast Solar... I made the right choice by choosing you.

Very courteous, efficient and extremely knowledgeable work force. South Coast Solar is one of the best new companies to service New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. Everyone should have solar panels installed on their home or business due to the great savings in energy costs and the positive impact on the environment. South Coast Solar really took care of us and lowered our energy bills. We highly recommend them.

South Coast Solar did an awesome job on my solar installation My wife and I did a solar hot water system and a solar electric system and our bills were cut by 2/3! They also have these really cool looking all black solar panels, which are nicer than any of the others we looked at. We highly recommend them!.
