My boyfriend recently lost just about everything he owns in the flood that occurred here in Louisiana. After we emptied and gutted the entire house I began to vacuum some loose dirt with a borrowed shop vac. It wasn't working all that well so I decided to go ahead and try his hoover vacuum even though it was submerged in 12 feet of water for several days. I plugged it in and it worked like a charm. No problems at all. So thank you Hoover for making a product that is very well worth the money!
