Dr. Hood is very thorough with the exam procedure, and very personable while she does it. The staff is friendly and courteous, doing their utmost to be sure that each customer goes home with glasses that are attractive as well as useful, or contacts, if that's what is preferred.They try to work with as many insurance companies as possible. Dr. Hood came is on a Sunday to attend my husband's eye, which he managed to scratch while cutting grass, and was cheerful and happy that she could help. We have both been her patients for many years, and have found better service and products here than anywhere else. I highly recommend Eye Works and Dr Hood.

Extremely overpriced glasses. Old fashion frames and dirty office with ripped chairs. Friendly at first, but when inquiring about their 30 day refund policy posted in the office they would not honor it and became very rude ad arrogant. Horrible customer service and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

For the price she charges, I would have rather gone somewhere else. There is a very small selection of frames. Her examination was not even as thorough as my other doctors. She did not put in the dye to check the dilation of my eye (I think that is what it is for). Her office needs renovations. The ceiling was coming down. The employees had definite mood swings. At times they were rude and others they were nice. I think only one knows what she is doing because she always had to answer questions.

When I went to Eye Works, I was met with friendly, knowledgable staff that were more than willing to help me. I purchased my glasses there because they have a big selection of frames that no other optical has in the south. I throughly enjoyed my visit and recommend my friend go there. Dr. Hood is friendly, funny and really cares about her patients.
