      The YMCA of Greater New Orleans - Metropolitan Office is a nonprofit organization located in New Orleans, La. Founded in 1852, the organization provides aquatic, child care, literacy, community development, and health and fitness programs. Its youth leadership program helps to develop leadership skills and build relationships among young people from diverse backgrounds. The YMCA of Greater New Orleans - Metropolitan Office offers fitness classes, social activities and volunteer opportunities for senior citizens. The organization offers personal fitness and group exercise classes and has a variety of cardio and weight training equipment.
