Dr. Songy is a terrific doctor. I have been going to him for over 20 years. He listens to his patients, explains any treatment thoroughly and does not talk down to you. The only drawback is that because he spends so much quality time with his patients, there is usually a wait time of 60-90 minutes for your appointment. This can be very frustrating especially when you have to get back to work. In the long run, his care and commitment as a physician has always outweighed the time constraints for me. I really don't know what I am going to do if he ever decides to retire.
