Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates is a single specialty gastroenterology and hepatology (liver disease) practice serving the New Orleans area that includes 21 physicians with three office locations. These physicians, along with three additional local gastroenterologists, comprise the medical staff of its three affiliated endoscopy centers – MGA Gastrointestinal Diagnostic & Therapeutic Centers. Our centers have received the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy’s Certificate of Recognition of Quality in Endoscopy.

Dr. Catinis is wonderful... He is the most compassionate and understanding doctor my husband has seen. He takes the time to talk to us and explain everything that is going on in terms that we can understand. We absolutely love this man!!!

I have gone to him in panic mode many times and he always puts me at ease. He's just a great person...
