Bissonet Plaza Elementary School is a coeducational institution that provides academic education and extracurricular activities to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s library provides access to resources for students and staff in several curriculum areas and also offers a variety of print and electronic sources to assist with the learning process. Bud Bissonet Plaza Elementary School offers educational classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, science, social studies, reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary, art and physical education. It also maintains a parent-teacher organization. Bissonet Plaza Elementary School, located in Metairie, La., is a part of the Jefferson Parish Public School System.
