The night started out alright, but it got ugly when I told the owner that he needs to pay the bands better. My band brought in about 50 people who were all buying drinks. We walked out of the place with $30 of payment. I told him in a nice manner that I think the payment is too low and suggested that he charge a cover or give the bands a larger percentage of the bar. He got in my face and told me not to tell him how to run his bar, and he said I should be fortunate for his giving me a place to play.



There are plenty other places to play, New Orleans. Every musician deserves better than Babylon. Please don't support this place and that jerk of an owner.
