These clowns no longer have a License or bond as they stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from transporters & customers while providing no services! The owner Tim Higgens is the biggest thief of all, as hes probably run numerous small companies out of business with his thieving bs! Unless you want to work for free or loose lots of money steer clear of these thief's!

The overall move was excellent. I shipped 3 vehicles in the past thru this company. I had a last minute need to ship the 3rd car and the agent Bernie Torres was excellent in helping me out to set it up so that my car was shipped the next day after I made a call. Usually with other companies, they would want you to give them at least 2 to 3 days heads up. But DAS can do it the next day b/c they are big enough. Not only that, if you are willing to drive some distance to drop off your car at their company terminals and pick up at their destination company terminals, you will save a lot. Make sure you ask about that. In fact, I saved $150 compared to most other companies.

This was my first time shipping my brand new vehicle, it went from Washington State all the way to New York City. The entire process was made so easy thank to Mr. Bernie Torres, who took the time to call me, these days it's hard to company's and people who keep their word. The quote I Recieved was exactly what I paid, no hidden fees, no bs. My car arrive to New York a few days earlier than they told me which was to my delight. The person who delivered it was even nice enough to drive it tot he other side of a busy New York City street for me which he totally didn't have to do. When your moving across the state. You have a ton to worry about and things that could go wrong, thanks to Bernie, and DAS. My vehicle was not one of my worries!! Thanks guys

Last month, my family and I relocated from Seattle, WA to New Jersey. We were referred to DAS from our moving company. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. Armando was incredible to work with, even offering me advice to ship our two vehicles separately to ensure a lesser time without a car once in NJ. Both of our vehicles arrived in NJ a week ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. In fact, the driver hand washed my husbands car to ensure it was clean and tidy for us after a rough trip through WA. Moving cross-country is beyond stressful. DAS gave us the peace of mind we needed and I highly recommend them to anyone making a move.

TERRIBLE experience with DAS. Significant damage to my car when delivered. Then they required that I pay for the repairs up front and they would reimburse within 30 days. They did not. 75 days later - no reimbursement. I have called them over a dozen times. They do not respond to voicemails or email. If you are looking for someone trustworthy to transport your vehicle, choose someone else.

Every thing about our car move was handled professionally and very smoothly. The price was better than others and the car was delivered ahead of schedule.

I had the best experience with DAS, Armando the rep. was amazing very helpful and explained exactly how the move went my car was picked up on the day they said it was going to be picked up and was delivered exactly the day that they said it would be delivered I am very pleased and I highly highly recommend this company again when you make the phone call to set up appointment ask for Armando he is so helpful.

In preparing for my move my sister recommended DAS as an alternative to driving multiple vehicles across the country. I'm so glad that I took her advice! I chose to save a little money with the terminal to terminal option. Door to door service is also available. My vehicle arrived much earlier than the estimated delivery window. Stay as far away from DAS as possible!! They delivered my car damaged. Since then they have refused to pay for it even though they are contractually obligated to do so. Call them and it goes to voicemail and they don't respond. Emails - no response. I am not alone - the Better Business Bureau shows DAS has 283 COMPLAINTS filed against them in the last 3 years! BBB rating - F.

The shipment of our car went extremely smoothly. We delivered the car to the origin location, and they were very helpful and efficient. Stephen Linders, our DAS contact/coordinator, was very easy to work with, very pleasant and helpful, and everything went according to plan. The car arrived at the destination as we delivered it.

They arrived on time for pick up. Bryan Evans Was easy to work with and very patient with all my questions and concerns. The SUV arrived on time and the same condition with no problems i would recommend DAS.

It was a good experience working with Bryan Evans of DAS (#46535180) on movement from Denver to Jacksonville! Despite of the heavy snow the previous day they kept the time on pick up....I was on a door to door delivery package which was done perfectly on time...

Believe the negative reviews and the F rating from the Better Business Bureau. Craig Crawford was quick to respond to Emails to get the job and then lousy customer service from then on. Use the phone service to check on the ship and all it tells you is it is late. Try the web based checker, all you get are error messages. Emails go unanswered and finally someone answers the phone only to tell me it has not been picked up yet (3 weeks later) It finally shows up from an independent shipper because they brokered the job out. This was from major Florida city to major Ohio city. Two days after it is delivered I get an Email saying it's on the way. Used them years ago with no problems but now Buyer beware!

I was exceptionally pleased with their service. I was promised the car in about 10 days and I got it in less than a week! They took very good care of my car and it was in perfect shape when I received it. I would definitely use them again!

A company named American Car Transport called me back at 8pm that same day to confirm that they had a driver that would pick up the vehicle the following morning. I had to call back Dependable as well because John advised me that I had to sign release paperwork for them to release my vehicle to another company. The next morning I called Dependable and LaDonna emailed me the release paperwork I had to fill out. I returned the paperwork via email within 15 minutes, and called back again to confirm. LaDonna told me that she received the release paperwork and would fax it over to the manager in 10-15 minutes. When the driver from American Car Transport arrived later that same day, he was given the run around and at one point was told that he should leave because I cancelled their service. Lucky for me, the driver from American Car Transport had my personal cell phone number and called me. I insisted that he was to take custody of my vehicle and not to leave without my car in his possession. He finally got my car off Dependable’s lot and delivered my car FIVE days after picking it up. My vehicle sat on Dependable’s lot for 21 days without movement and at no point during all of these phone calls or emails was there an apology or any acknowledgement of their inability to do their job or what they promised. Both LaDonna and John Kreuger said that it normally takes them 20 days to deliver a vehicle, and I when I told both of them that it had been 21 days and the vehicle hadn’t left New Jersey, neither of them had an explanation or an apology for the situation. John insisted that I was told by the Stephen Linders that it would take at least 20 days for delivery, which clearly didn’t matter when even if my vehicle left New Jersey on June 9th – it would have been a month before I saw my car in California! Why would anyone pay and wait 20 PLUS days for their delivery when they could get it in 5 days for the same money?



Take my advice and this warning - NEVER USE DEPENDABLE AUTO SHIPPERS (DAS) !!!!!!

This is absolutely the worst moving company I have ever dealt with!!!! They said my vehicle would be delivered in six days, it took over two weeks! My brand new 2013 vehicle arrived damaged because they strapped the cars too close together and a 1980's truck rubbed the rear end of my vehicle the entire trip. They were rude and unprofessional solving my claim, provided no rental car after damaging my vehicle and made me pay a $250 deductible, all after they damaged my car!!!



They show ads with professional clean cut people picking up the vehicles in new enclosed car trailers. The reality is a gentleman who may not have showered in weeks showed up and loaded my vehicle on a flatbed that was about twenty years old.



Do yourself a favor, avoid the headaches and use another company!!!
