This UPS Store has very deceptive practices and looks for opportunities to gouge its customers. My father, who is 80 years old, prepared a medium-sized box to send to me. When he brought it to this store, he understood that the package would be sent by UPS. The employee at this store charged him $90.70. They then proceeded to send the package by USPS Priority Mail that only cost $39.99. When we received the package, we realized that it was shipped by USPS, rather than UPS, for less than half of the cost my father paid. I called to discuss this significant difference in price, but the employee hung up on me and wouldn’t pick up the phone when I called back. This predatory opportunist took advantage of an old man who has poor vision who had no idea that he signed a $90.70 credit card receipt and then signed a $39.99 Priority Mail receipt. Do not waste your time and money at this UPS location.
