- Physical TherapyOrthopedists treat conditions of the musculoskeletal system affecting the bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves of the extremities (arms and legs). The majority of these conditions can be treated effectively without surgery. When surgery is indicated, arthroscopic / less invasive techniques are utilized when possible. Physical therapy, casts, injections and medications are often part of the treatment. Dr. Scoggin does not treat conditions of the spine (neck or back).
