I am a 64 year old retired coach and a lifelong athletic participant. I have always dealt with pulls, sprains and tendonitis etc. with stretching, strengthening and RICE [rest,ice,compression and elevation]. Recently, hip and knee issues have not responded to my treatment strategies. My wife encouraged me to visit her chiropractor, Dr. Lynn Pangburn at Red Mountain Chiro-Med. Glad I did. Dr. Lynn has a background in athletic training . She evaluated my condition and explained a strategy for treatment. We work together to keep me in the gym and on the golf course. Dr. Lynn and Dr. Tom are both very professional, and both extremely competent. I came in to see Dr. Tom after another doctor failed to help me and his adjustment immediately relieved a significant amount of strain from my neck and had me performing at a high level for my job that very same day. His care was personal and very much adapted to my individual needs, he even recommended a massage therapist (on-site!) who worked with my jaw the next day and gave me a degree of improvement in my TMJ that I had not previously seen. He also gave me good suggestions on improving my posture. One day I dropped in and saw Dr. Lynn and she was also extremely competent and gave me some other excellent tips on improving my posture which I have used to reduce the likelihood of having to come back so often.
