I had to give it one star just to write a review, but it doesn't deserve even one. This place was AWFUL. The service was horrendous. They lost two of our food orders. Three people at dinner. One got food (a lukewarm, half cooked burger). Our pizza (the lost order) came 40 minutes later, lukewarm. Our to go order was lost. We left without waiting for them to bake another 40 minute pizza to take home. We tried take out last week. Our pizza was half cooked, raw in the middle. We tried to like this place twice. It was a flippin nightmare. We felt like we were being held hostage, waiting for food, waiting for service, waiting for them to figure out our bill. Moe, Larry and Curly could run a business better. Complained to management. They got defensive, saying they were "slammed". OH, and I loved the cigarette smoke that wafted in from the patio during dinner. Don't waste your time or money here. The WORST place ever.

Just noticed this new Gus's opened up (I'm a bit oblivious) so I had to go in to give it a shot. It's a very nice establishment visually and the employees I dealt with were kind and very enthusiastic. I ordered a medium Pizza (Cheese+Garlic) and a Chicken Parmesan toasted sub. Both were excellent. The sauce was fresh tasting and the pizza was cooked just perfect. The sub was also great, the breading on the chicken was nice and crunchy and the flavors mixed well. This place has an open kitchen so you can watch them work and I like that. The food won't win any awards I reckon but as a picky fat guy, I loved my first visit and will return. (According to the employee I talked with, not the same owner as the Tempe Gus's).

Decided to check out this new spot as we do every restaurant that has failed in it's same spot. Don't bother... Ordered a carry-out tonight... Hubby had a toasted italian sub, missing the cheese. The salami had the plastic casing left on. I had the gyro wrap and asked for without feta. Loaded with feta. Didn't get my side salad even though it was right there on the receipt with greek dressing. The gyro bread was obviously "store bought" and tasted like it absorbed all the smells of the restaurant. Not a good experience.

The pizza here is amazing seriously!!! The wings were extraordinary! Two of my friends ordered tossed sandwiches, which were delicious, rich in flavor! You can tell that all the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant has a full menu bar ( spirits, wine, and beer), open air bar to patio. The employees were extremely warm and the place looks awsome and most importantly immaculately clean! We will definitely be back!!
