The billing practices are ridiculous and the "Vice President" is beyond rude and without understanding all the facts of a situation he slams the customer with profanity and threats. If he represents the temperament and the overall attitude of the doctors and office personal it is no surprise. Without knowing anything about me or my situation he "thinks" he knows but expressed blatantly false facts saying I haven't been to the office since 2017 like my bill is 2 years old. Then I explained to him what time frame we were talking about it didn't change his attitude. I was told I was billed and paid at the time of visit which I did only to get an additional charge 8 months later. They told me they had mailing issues but Vern didn't know what I am my insurance company was told. So instead of de-escalating he went off the rails and screamed at a customer with name calling after never meeting or talking to me. I was told my last visit was no charge at the time of visit in June but again billed for it in my statement in December. I requested copies of the invoices that were sent and they refused. So in the end I paid the bill but warning to anyone dealing with the office, if they say it will only be $$ and you pay, you will end up paying more and never get a straight answer. Just pay up or they threaten to sue and just go elsewhere in the future. No one needs this grief from a medical office no less. Not the doctors but they hired the staff so they are responsible for their actions.

As a first time patient, I booked a body cancer check appointment based off a referral from a friend. Not long after my appointment was booked I received a message asking if I could reschedule - sure, no problem. The new appt was a couple weeks further out but that was fine. The Papillon office "message to reschedule" happened TWO more times. After the THIRD time I thought this must be an error - (new person in the office or something). Several days passed and my appt date was approaching, no follow up confirmation from the office - so I emailed. The response was confirming my appointment - finally (so i thought). I took time off of work, made the drive to their office, paperwork in hand (including printed email appt confirmation) and yup, my appt. was cancelled by the office. I'll never know if the Dr.'s care is a reflection of the office management - I didn't "rebook".

Dr. Ubogy was fine; however, I have had a very negative experience regarding money they owe me for an overpayment. They made me pay in full up front. When they received payment from my insurance company, they were to refund me the difference. It has been 2 months and after 4 phone calls they still have not mailed the check. They keep putting me off because they have a set procedure for reimbursement. I have explained their procedure is not working and the response I received was "It isn't working for you." I will never do business with them again and do not recommend them to anyone. There are plenty of good dermatologists in the valley that I imagine have better business practices in place and actually care about their customers.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how professional the whole staff is at this practice. I had to see a surgeon for the sebaceous cysts on my head and the dermatologist for a complete body scan. They were were so nice and made me feel very comfortable through the whole process. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for an excellent dermatologist.

Very impressed with the office from start to finish. Dr Thaler is very thorough and very kind.

I went to see Dr. Thaler today actually for a rash I have been having. First of all it took 45 minutes just to get into a room. When I did get a room I noticed a giant wolf spider on the ceiling. This thing was probably the size a six year olds hand. I told the nurse about it and she ignored me. She continued to put the notes in the computer. I kept telling her I wanted out of the room, that I was scared of spiders and she ignored me. I then became persistant reitterating that they are extremely poisonous and she said "well we will try to get you another room in a minute". Turns out the spider was giving birth to a million babies and they were just letting this happen while I was in the room. I am so furious. TO TOP IT OFF when the doctor got in the room he suggested I get a biopsy without even really trying to semi diagnose my proble. I am tempted to call the news about this place. Waste of time and money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

It's nice to actually see your dermatologist when you go there. The doctor spends time with you and actually performs the injections and procedures. Other practices use nurses to perform minor procedures, but that is not the case here. Thanks!
