Rex and Ruth Kerby founded Kerby's Furniture in the spring of 1959. We continue to be a family-owned and operated small business. The third generation is now filling positions within the company. We continue to grow upon the original foundations of firmness, friendliness, and the best service possible. We own all of our facilities, keep overhead expenses comparatively low, and sell at very competitive prices. Our company continues to serve the neighborhoods where we have raised our families, and we are committed to preserving the wholesome culture of our community. In 1998, Kerby's Furniture received the Retailer of the Year Award presented by the Western Home Furnishings Association. The award was based on contributions to the community and retail business standards being practiced by the retailer. Furniture stores from around the Western United States are nominated each year.
