My husband was referred to Dr Iskandar by the E.D. after an accident. Thanks to this knucklehead, after 3 months of tests (few and far between) we knew no more than on day one. The office staff lies regarding the insurance approval process and fail to follow up with the insurance company to get the approval. The first two times, I called the insurance company, conference in the doctor's office and walk them through the steps in order to get the procedures approved. The final time, after the facility again dragged it's feet, I filed a formal complaint with 3 state agencies and every hospital Iskandar had an association with. As a result, the staff discharged my husband from care and claimed the insurance company denied the final procedure. An outright lie! The insurance company said the procedure would have be approved had Dr Iskandar spoke with their medical director, but Iskandar failed to call him back. Avoid East Valley Neurosurgery.
