Our friend was a Vietnam Era Veteran and he passed from cancer. They were unprepared for his passing and his wife did not have much money. He passed away in the VA Hospital and Decedent Affairs recommended Angels. Sandy the proprietor at Angels bills the VA directly and does this because her father was a veteran and instilled in her the respect for the men and women who serve their country. She treats the veterans family with tender caring and respect. Once the family requests that the VA pay for the cremation, Sandy considers the bill from the family is paid in full, regardless of whether the VA pays her or not. In the time of grief and financial stress, this truly eases the burden that the family feels and makes one less detail for them to take care of. The VA may take months or even years to pay the bill and Sandy handles that without bothering the family again. It is truly inspiring to see that Sandy and Angels are committed to honoring our Veterans in this way. To quote Sandy, "We are only able to have the freedom to run our businesses and live our lives because of the bravery of the men and women who willingly serve our country in our military service." This is her small way of saying thank you to their families.

I have to say that I would NEVER refer this place to ANYONE alive or dead!!! We had a TERRIBLE experience with this place. The owner was the most inconsiderate, unemotional and helpless woman EVER!!! She wouldn't help my poor father out with ANY of the paper work. She went through it in 15 minutes and then threw the death certificate papers at him and told him that he needed to fill out the whole thing correctly or he wouldn't get his papers for my mother ( who mind you had only passed away less than 12 hours before!!!) . As a family we left mortified at how awful we were treated! I would give this place a NEGATIVE 10!!!!

I had an extremely excellent experience with the company when my mother passed away. Very compassionate! No issues with obtaining the death certificate, they even made sure my brother had the documentation he needed when he returned home on the bus with his earn. What was the most touching was receiving the notes long after we had concluded our business with Angels Cremations. I have refered them to others and will continue to do so. This place was a God send.. especially since my brothers and I had no money for this but we were able to afford it.

The upfront process and the staff were wonderful. However, there doesn't seem to be any initiative to follow thru with committed actions. I had to call 3 times, to date, to get copies of the death certificate. Each time I was told it was taken care of (reordered) and I should receive it within a period of time. It has been 10 weeks. Multiple financial issues are stalled for the surviving spouse as a result.

The care, service and follow-up which one receives from Angels is mind-boggling. At a time when you are upset enough, they don't try to take advantage, but rather to put you at ease, provide excellent service and all at a fair price. I received cards from them for a long time after my husband's death. I truly appreciate the staff and their kindness will never be forgotten.

if it was not for the very first person who greeted me after i lost my husband i would not have went thru this company she made me feel like i and my husband mattered after that it all went down hill you know in a business it is understanding for then to not remember every name of every customer but to show you dont care and to be just to busy for a follow up call just out of concern and for numerous other issues i would never recommend this company to anyone
