It is one of the largest private universities in North America that operates at more than 200 locations. The university provides over 100 degree programs at the associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels in the areas of business, technology, health care and education. The University of Phoenix also offers an executive master s degree in business administration. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. The University of Phoenix maintains a location in Merrillville, Ind.
