- Dental CareRegular, proactive dental care is a crucial part of keeping your pet’s teeth and gums healthy. In addition to our professional cleanings, it’s important to establish a dental care routine at home. Brushing your dog or cat’s teeth at home can be the most effective means of preventing a variety of dental infections and diseases.

- Nutritional CounselingOur philosophy is that wellness care is the key to keeping your dog healthy and happy. That’s why our veterinarians suggest an annual or biannual wellness exam, depending upon your dog’s physical health, age and medical needs. Annual wellness exams are generally recommended for adult dogs, and allow us to keep your pet healthy through vaccines, heartworm testing, parasite protection, and nutritional counseling. For senior dogs and dogs with chronic health conditions, we recommend biannual wellness exams to ensure that your companion stays in peak health.

- Dental RadiologyDigital dental radiography allows us to examine the tooth and bone under the gum line. Ultrasonic dental scalers, and high and low speed hand pieces for drilling, cutting and polishing allow us to clean and polish your pet’s teeth. This removes the plaque that can lead to gingivitis and, if left unchecked, infection around the root of the tooth. Plaque, which is a buildup of bacteria, will develop into periodontitis. Periodontitis are pockets of severe and painful infections within the mouth around the teeth and gumline. Not treated, it can lead tooth decay and bone loss.
