Roya Waggoner, APRN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner with AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Merriam, Kansas. Prior to joining AdventHealth Medical Group General Surgery at Shawnee Mission, Roya worked as a nurse practitioner and a registered nurse in surgical care and other specialties, including women's care, mental health and addiction recovery. Roya earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree through the family nurse practitioner curriculum at Maryville University in St. Louis. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kansas State University.
