General Info: Michelle Martin, APRN, AGNP-C, CNRN, is an experienced, Board-certified nurse practitioner with AdventHealth Medical Group Neurosurgery at Shawnee Mission. She works closely with neurosurgeon Darren Lovick, MD. Since 2001, Michelle has worked in the neurosurgery and neuroscience field at health systems around Greater Kansas City. Her vast experience includes past roles in direct patient care as well as program leadership for a brain tumor program and a blood brain barrier disruption program. She joined AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in 2017 when the Neurosurgery at Shawnee Mission practice was established. Michelle earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing. She is a certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (AGNP-C) and a certified neuroscience registered nurse (CNRN).
